“Our students and staff are still talking about your presetations and books. The details our students have shared in reminiscing about your talks with them have been marvelous. Our teachers have also remarked about the quality of the content of your presentations with your focus on the writing process. I was so impressed with the manner in which you altered your presentations to fit the needs of each group that came in, tailoring your words, presentation slides, and even stage presence to reach each age group at their respective cognitive level. Thank you, thank you, and thank you!” ~Napoloeon Elementary School

“Linda Stanek was very personable with the kids and adults. She was so easy to talk to and to work with. I can’t wait to have her back!” ~ Lynchburgh-Clay Elementary School

“The author visit was a huge success for Circleville’s Elementary Schools!  It was amazing to observe the children’s excitement of learning new and interesting information such as how heavy an elephant tooth is.  What I liked as a teacher was the children’s once in a lifetime opportunity to be able to interact with the author and the props!  Really…how often are kids going to get the opportunity to see what a monkey biscuit looks like?” ~ Trent Roberts, Circleville City School,Circleville, Ohio

The hands-on, innovative workshops provide a great opportunity for additional writing experiences in the classroom. Linda supports students through meaningful and supportive writing experiences and with enthusiasm that spills over from a love of continuous learning through writing! ~ Kim Reynolds, Deer Run Elementary, Dublin, Ohio

Looking for a great author visit and one that meets Common Core standards? Look no further! Linda Stanek will engage your students and teachers with all fiction and nonfiction has to offer.

The whole group assembly captured our students’ interest and imagination with an engaging presentation full of  background information about researching and writing about animals. During the small group workshops, classes learned about the importance of writing both fiction and nonfiction in a highly creative way.

Teachers praised the author too, regarding the message about revising your work. Students loved relating puzzles to the writing process. The optional visit from the Columbus Zoo is a must to end your special day!  Teachers commented that this was the BEST author visit they had seen in years! I agree.  ~ Elizabeth Waltz, Heritage Elementary, Olentangy Local Schools
