Become a member of my new, direct to families, Author Kids’ Club where elementary-age kids will connect all year long with a real author. (Me!) At the beginning of every month I’ll email Author Club members an 8-page, printable packet with news from my desk, interviews with amazing authors, two puzzles (one embedded in the newsletter, and another in author and puzzle expert Jen Funk Weber’s monthly column). There are writing tips, problems and solutions for kid writers, writing ideas (and how to get them), and lots of encouragement. Each month I’ll also feature some new books worth finding at a store or library near you. (Author Club members are automatically entered for a drawing to win each book.) It all adds up to a year (11 months) of making writing fun.
