I’m so excited to let you know that my book, Once Upon an Elephant is a finalist in the Children’s Choice Book Awards in the grades 3-4 category (all ages can vote in each category). This awards program is held by the Children’s Book Council and the International Reading Association.  To help promote school participation, I’m holding a Twitter contest for Ohio schools: one teacher will win a free full-day author visit for his or her school for next year. Each teacher at your school can enter TWO times. Here’s how:
